band stemming from Tongzhou of Beijing, China. The band grew out of the campus
of Beijing Contemparary Music Academy in late 2008, consisting of guitarists
Yu Chen(于晨), Liu Zhe(刘哲) and drummer Li Yuepeng， shortly after they began
their first school semester. Half a year later came the bass player
Guo Changhai(郭长海) and lead vocalist Hang Yu(杭昱)(from Communication
University of China). Similar to many other Beijing-based bands,
the integrity of band lineups has always been challenged by the cruelty of
reality in its early days. In March 2010,the former drummer left the band and
led to a halt of Multi-Ego. It was not until three months later when Miao Wei(缪伟)
(also drummer of the band Moonless Archeron) joined in that revived the band and
got everything running again. In the tail of 2010, Multi-Ego successfully finished
their first national tour in 11 cities.
